Education and Outreach Committee

The Education and Outreach Committee is composed of representatives from the Tier 2 Committee from each crop, USDA and crop coordinators and other interested parties.

The committee is responsible for providing guidance and assistance to Tier 2 committees to achieve a similar look to published material for NCPN, website, graphic design and printing support.  The committee also determines topics, gathers content and publishes the NCPN electronic newsletter as well as booth materials for outside conventions and meetings.

Publications produced by the Tier 2 Crop Committees and reviewed by the Education and Outreach Committee are posted on the NCPN crop websites.

The NCPN operates under the auspices of three agencies within the United States Department of Agriculture - Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).
